Ps. René van den Bergh

Born in Windhoek, René is just as warm hearted and friendly as her country of birth, Namibia. She got married to Francois in 1987 on a hot summer day in December in Keetmanshoop after which they moved to the RSA. Her working career started in the banking industry after which she and Francois also run their own business until 1996.
René was raised in a very strict traditional christian home, no jeans, no pop music, only church dresses and church music! She gave her life to the Lord in 1984 and was Baptist according to Matt 28:19. Her father was diagnosed with cancer in that same year and he passed away 6 months later. René was only 19yrs of age at that time and her life took off in a rollercoaster ride. She went through many storms and her marriage to Francois also became very shaky and unstable until one day in November 1996... René and Francois made a 180 degree turn! Straight back into the loving arms of Jesus Christ!
Isaiah 60:1-2 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee!
The Lord placed a prophetic mantle on René's life and she also gave birth to a beautiful vision that was given to her by God in 2003... Prophetic Women's Camps! Her love for intimate, prophetic worship, together with her husband's Davidic anointing, placed their camps in a total different category! They are completely dependant on the movement of the Holy Spirit and their prophetic, end-time healing ministry flows spontaneous under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
René's whole life and character can be captured in one scripture:
Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength, my shield from every danger. I trust in him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
